The IT:U Digital Library
The IT:U Library provides access to a wide range of electronic journals and e-media. You can use the IT:U Library Search to browse our collections. Our resources can be accessed via IP Authentication on both our campuses, so it is necessary to be connected to Eduroam. At the moment, access outside the Eduroam range is not supported.

Looking for a space to study?
In addition to IT:U's facilities, you can also use the infrastructure and learning spaces at the JKU Learning Center.
JKU Learning Center
IT:U students can use the JKU Learning Center, which is “a state-of-the-art facility designed as an attractive location to study, communicate, and conduct research. The relaxed atmosphere supports project-oriented learning and studying so whether working on your own or as part of a group, you will be able to focus and concentrate on the task at hand.”
Opening hours:
- Monday to Friday 8:20am to 10pm
- Saturday to Sunday 10am to 6pm (please be sure to check the opening times before your visit).
There are desks and places to work throughout the Learning Center, with the top floor having the most, along with a pleasant view over the campus and an outdoor area to get some fresh air.
IT:U students can also book rooms in the Learning Center! Instructions are provided in the PDF below. Access the booking calendar via JKU Library: Learning Center Bookings.
There is a small 24/7 area at the front of the building. To get access, you must present your IT:U student card and JKU partner card to the reception desk (located behind the 24/7 area). You will only need to do this once.
IT:U students can read books in the Learning Center but cannot borrow them. There are two book scanners on the ground floor that can be used. You can save the scanned pages to a USB drive (byod). Students can also access local digital media, as well as use the download and print features.
