Description
This course teaches the basics of human-in-the-loop (Hil) and simulation development, including 30 simulation, fidelity dimensions, motion sickness, and immersion/presence, as well as the evaluation of such systems in various context like industry, flight operation, or driving.
Learning objectives
After successfully completing the course, students will be able to
• Define requirements for a Hil system
• Design a simulation according to Hil-fidelity dimen-sions
• Implement a simulation in a 30 simulation engine
• Evaluate the simulator according to relevant psycho-logical constructs such as simulator sickness or pres-ence/immersion
Comment
